The Coven

A blog for my artwork to show anyone whose interested in viewing; friends, werewolves, stoners, bands, geeks, zombies, disgruntled super villians and other artists and strangers whom may be interested in exchanging money for art. I'm definitely interested in doing artwork for bands whether it be album covers or t-shirt designs.

About Me

I'm currently a junior at The Columbus College of Art and Design studying illustration. I'm always trying to feel things out and still searching for a distinct style but I'm getting closer to it as we speak. I'm continually influenced by the work of the great masters of illustration such as Joseph Clement Coll, Franklin Booth, Frank Frazetta, NC Wyeth, AB Frost and many more. I'm equally inspired by a ton of contemporary artists who have their hands in everything from comic books, album artwork, t-shirt designs, cartoons, etc. etc. An abbreviated list would consist of: Tim Sale, Mike Mignola, Florian Betner, John Dyer Baizley, Jack Kirby, Brian Bolland, James Jean, Peter de'Seve, Guy Davis blah blah blah blah. I enjoy a lot of music ranging from ambient soundscapes to the slow, trudging agony of funeral doom. Most of my musical tastes are centered within the "extreme metal" and just plain weird realm but I'm fairly open minded.
